The Schiffler Cancer Center of Wheeling Hospital is internationally recognized and has treated patients from 34 states and 14 foreign countries.
Schiffler is home to the only Accredited Comprehensive Cancer Program in its market, as designated by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC).
Schiffler treats most types of cancers. Its team of physicians is known nationally and internationally for its experience, knowledge and
contributions to the profession. The members are backed by a talented staff of nurses, therapists and researchers. Together, they provide
rapid evaluation and deliver compassionate care in a modern and comfortable setting.
During the CoC’s latest review of our Comprehensive Cancer Program, it issued it a Commendation – its highest ranking. The CoC also called the program, “Impeccable.”
Wheeling Hospital was the first in West Virginia and one of only 66 cancer programs nationally to earn the CoC’s Outstanding Achievement Award.
