Medical and Clinical Education Programs
Wheeling Hospital offers comprehensive training for residents in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Family Medicine, as well as for students in the Radiology Program.
Graduates of the three-year residency programs are able to manage a wide variety of health care needs for the individual and the family, including acute care, preventive care and chronic disease states. Residents are provided training in treating patients of all ages, learning that Wheeling Hospital's Human Touch mission applies to everyone from newborns to the elderly.
In the Radiology Program, students acquire the competency level, patient care skills and knowledge of entry level technologists. At the same time, they develop an understanding of the significance of professional values and life-long learning experiences.
